Culture in Beitou

Beitou has a long history, gathering with many artistic resources. The Ketagalan tribe had lived in Beitou for four hundred years. The Ketagalan Culture Museum completely presents their history and real life. There have lots of historic building and monuments like Meiting, Puchi Temple, LongNaiTang Hot Spring, hot spring bathhouse, Taiwan Folk Arts Museum and so on. Except ancient buildings, the modern architectures are attractive as well. Like the Green Building Library, which ever won the FIABC Prixd’ Excellence in 2008. In Beitou, attractive buildings show the unique charm of the culture. Natural terrain in Beitou has bred the “Beitou Express” culture that is our subject in this project
