2002, based on a simple motivation, in order to make a safe, quality living environment for school children and community residents , the village leader combined with a group of dedicated community volunteers, tried to establish THE Li-nong Neighborhood Watch, and every day patrol avenue and lanes. Their missions included Elementary caring guidance counselors, guardian of the children and community safety, adopt maintenance beautification of parks, typhoon cleaning ditches, all-inclusive services.
Neighborhood Watch patrol team history and milestones
- The “Linong Neighborhood Watch Patrol” was established and began operation on August 22, 2001.
- On April 12, 2007, the “Linong Neighborhood Watch” was re-registered and continued to operate.
- Participated in the Taiwan Six-Star Healthy Community Project in July of 2010
